Chemical Flooding involves adding specific functional chemicals to the injection water to create an active fluid. Based on two core mechanisms—reducing oil-water interfacial tension and improving mobility ratio—it significantly enhances displacement efficiency and sweep efficiency. It primarily includes Polymer Flooding, Surfactant Flooding, Alkaline Flooding, and their combined systems (e.g., SP, ASP).
